Well done to Pat and Linda who
organised a great presentation evening on Friday night. I believe
that everyone enjoyed this event, so many thanks to all those involved
for taking so much time and care to ensure that everything ran
smoothly. Mildred produced some really lovely flower arrangements
and the winners of the "free" raffle were thrilled with their
prizes. |

Final numbers for presentation evening

paid your deposit and have indicated your menu choice either by
returning the form to Pat or entering the details on the list in
the locker room.
Rebecca took part in a sponsored
fancy dress round of golf during the week and raised over £260 for
the County Junior funds - further donations can be made if to
Rebecca if you did not get to sign the sponsor form. |

The Lady Captain's team won the Woodham
Spoon 215 - 201 with Rebecca Horner going round in a gross 71
beating the previous ladies course record by 2 shots. |

Anne Sales has been back in hospital this
week but was allowed home on Friday - we wish her well for her
recovery. |

Well done to Tracey Hahn who won the
competition at Sharpley golf club (on her birthday) and to Janice
Blakey and Margaret Nisbet who came second and third. Thanks to
Pat for organising a very good trip to lovely course - its well
worth visiting (especially for £15). |

Woodham were beaten on the final hole by
Houghton-le-Spring in the semi final of the
Tomlinson Cup. |

Anne Sales is out of hospital and
recovering at home after her heart surgery. We would like to wish
her well and look forward to seeing her back on the golf course
soon. |

An Open Meeting was held at the golf club
with the new Director of Golf. It was not a very productive
meeting and left a lot of doubt in everyone's minds as to how we
are going to be able to work with him. |

Senior Club Championship with Roz Railton awarded the best net
